New Life Methodist Church of Salado

At our core, we are a Bible‑based, prayer‑driven congregation of the Global Methodist Church. If you ask our newest members why they chose to make this their church home, they’ll tell you something simple: they felt genuinely welcomed, and they saw how deeply we love and care for their children.

We strive to be the most loving congregation you have ever experienced. We don’t just call ourselves church families, we live like we are a big family. We walk through life together, supported by a dedicated group of prayer warriors who lift up our community, our nation, and our world every single day.

Our story is a testament to God’s grace and provision. We began as a small group of fifteen or so believers gathering in living rooms, guided by faithful lay leadership. As the Lord blessed us with growth, we moved our worship to the Salado Museum and later to Salado Middle School. In 2023, we joyfully welcomed Pastor Tom Lathen as our full‑time pastor.

In 2024 we took a major step forward. We purchased a five‑acre property in one of the fastest‑growing areas of Salado, and through God’s incredible grace, we were able to pay off the land entirely this year. Today, we worship, learn, and fellowship in our own debt‑free portable buildings and covered pavilion. These structures serve us wonderfully, and we are actively planning and preparing to build a permanent church home that will bless our community for generations to come.
